Detailing Services: Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my interior detail more that than listed starting price?
For every interior detail, we do our best to return your vehicle to "like new" conditions. That means, we do not just vaccum and wipe, but we actively remove stains, oil marks, sticky substances, embedded dirt, water damage, odors, etc. Since some cars require more effort and time to restore to "like-new" conditions, some ineterior packages will be slightly above the listed start price. See examples below.

What are swirl marks and what are the causes?
Swirl marks are super fine scratches that form a circular pattern on a paint's surface. They are most commonly caused by improper washing and drying techniques: mainly automatic car washes or using a towel that is dry or dusty. Swirl marks exist in the top layer of your vehicle's paint and make the shine look lack-luster, even if the car is clean.

Why does bird droppings & acidic rain water damage paint?
Bird droppings can damage to your car's paint because it contains Uric Acids. On a PH scale these acids are rated 3 to 4.5, meaning they are strong enough to erode the paint of your freshly waxed car and ruin a beautiful paint job. Acidic rain has the same effect on your paint. Acidic rain is also a corrosive that will damage your paint and leave you with hard to remove water spots and mineral deposits. Only a paint correction can permanently remove these imperfections.
